Still more wiper issues

Well I got the wiper wiring all figured out but now I have a new issue. I noticed the wipers were kinda jerky and didn't park as low on the windshield as they use to. Come to find out the pivots were damn near seized and that in turn took out the bushing on the motor side of the wiper linkage as well as the linkage itself(the hole is now egg shaped). Can you buy just the bushing or do I have to sink the $382cdn for the whole linkage assembly from the dealer? Or does anyone have a good used one I can buy?

You cannot buy the bushing seperate. The linkage is almost $400??!! Crikey! Get ahold of strap22 on here, or visit www.toyotapartsales.com and order it from him.

Yeah the cowl has to come off. I never removed the whole assembly "yet". It's on the motor side that is all messed up. Got to love that exchange rate eh boys, lol.

Just looked on that site, what is the difference between a standard and cold spec linkage set?

I would assume the cold spec has better seals...
And screw the exchange rate! I hate how much more parts cost us

I would consider finding a low mile used unit. Around here 4runners are plentiful...
