steering wheel rub

when i turn my steering wheel theres a rubbing sound- not grinding or any metal tometal sound just a weird rubbing sound is there a collar or collet?sp behind the steering wheel?? its a smooth rub, but it does go away when i turn the radio up

It's probably rubbing the steering column cover. It's held on by 3 screws from the bottom. Loosen the screws a bit and you should be able to move it so it doesn't rub.

It's the wiper on the horn button's electrical slip ring. Put a dab of grease on it.
