steering box question

steering box question
I'm trying to do a conversion to power steering on my 4x2, 87 Yota pick up, can the steering box from 84-90 4Runner fit my truck. I found one on ebay the seller states it will fit all 84-90 pick ups with 22R engine either 4x2 and 4x4. Is he correct. thanks

not correct. you will need a 2wd steering box, meaning the 2wd box is different than the 4wd box.
