Starting Issue

I have been having a starting issue with my truck recently. I fit sits for a while it is hard to start. It is like the fuel pressure is leaking out while sitting. But I can not see any trace of a fuel leak anywhere. Not wet frame rail or fuel smell. The last time I had similar issues it was an injector oring that was leaking and you could smell it in the cab while driving. Not this time so I thought it might be a rusty line with a small leak but I can find no sign of a leak. The only way I get a fuel smell is if it is closed up in the garage for a while. But there are also a bunch of motorcycles and gas cans with fuel in them as well so I cant say it is the truck for sure. Also recently i did some red kneck rust prevention and put used motor oil inside my frame rails. This could be one reason for the fuel like smell when closed in the garage. Two other possibilities I have thought of is the fuel filter is clogged or the fpr is letting the fuel pressure drop in the fuel rail after sitting. Any ideas.

Well it has stand alone engine management so the origianl computer and codes etc wont matter. I could check the sds system but once running all systems seem to check out. It does not eppear to be throwing an error code. Usually there is a lean warning, knock etc but it wont do anything with fuel pressure unless that causes a lean condition, which has not happened.
