Hi All,
I have a 1991 2WD P/U 22re w/about 200k miles-bottom end rebuild about 10k ago, manual trans. These problems may not be related but they seemed to start and become worse at the same time. First of all, sometimes when I push in the clutch and try to start the engine, I'll hear the starter catch and stop. If I let the clutch out and try again it will fire right up. Any ideas? Also, frequently after about 20 minutes of drive time, I'll lose power under acceleration and the truck will buck like I'm just learning to drive a stick. I notice this in all gears but its especially noticeable at low speeds (1st-2nd gear). Any help is greatly appreciated!

 

Not sure about the starter but I had a problem last year with my truck bucking, turned out to be spark plugs...I didn't gap them right
