Starter removal problems

Please help has anyone been able to take one out, and if so how? I took it lose now I cant get it out. No DAMN room. I got a price from NTB for $278.00
installed total. have not called Toyota dealer yet $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ am sure.
I can get the part from autozone for $ 99.00 + tax. I was thinking I could do this myself, but wrong so far . Anyone been here before what did you do?

Some removal and inexpensive repair ideas on the following web page:

If you just need to replace worn out copper contacts inside the solenoid (the #1 most coomon failure in the Denso starters), you can do so with the starter loose but still in the engine bay.
