starter not working when hot
#22
Notanymore,
If you go the route of replacement and can't find a replacement, I remember some years back when my starter was going out and I simply bought a starter rebuild kit. Getting the starter out of the housing was a clearance pain, but the rebuild of the starter only took a few minutes. After roughly three years, no starter hesitation whatsoever. If I can remember correctly, it cost me about twenty bucks for the kit. However, if the wires were loose, that would be a likely cause, of course. Odd how they would come loose, but stuff happens.

yeah i like the idea of just rebuilding it if it does start causing problems again, i had just taken it out to replace the contacts and that might of loosened the wires by the starter, and off the battery....its a big mess lol
is there a website you would reccomend to get a starter rebuild kit from?
