Has any one seen any problems with their starter.
and what the cost of a new one for my rig

What's wrong with it, if it clicks sometimes and starts sometimes then read this

Stopped starting, just clicking. Replaced starter contacts and its better then ever! Good to go for another 150k

a weak signal from the ignition switch may cause intermittent starter issues that appear to be caused by a weak battery. jump starting may temporarily fix the problem, but it will return unless a remote relay to engage the starter is installed, the ignition switch is replaced, or some other action is employed to guarantee voltage from the switch to the solenoid.
