Just need to make sure on the procedure on removing my speedo cable. It sounds like a bunch of mice live in my guages on cold mornings lol. (1991 3.0, 5 speed) I unscrew it from the back of the tranny and does it just pull out or is it more involved than that. After its out whats the best lube to use?

 

On my 89 I just lubed the end of the cable behind the instrument cluster. It worked...maybe I got lucky.
