Unhappy Update....Fixed!!!! Sputtery 22RE

Well, this has been going on for a couple of weeks, but it has gotten worse.

When you first start the truck, the engine runs fine, but when you try to drive it the engine bogs down. You have to floor the gas pedal to get anywhere. Its really annoying, dangerous, and causing unneeded wear on my engine. If you come to a stop the truck vibrates horribly and sounds like it is going to die! It did earlier today (I was trying to take of in 3rd, but I have done it before and it didnt die that time, so its not a clutching problem) I have replaced the catalytic converter, and i have a new fuel filter, I was going to install it myself, but its too much trouble to get to it! The check engine light has been on forever, but I didnt think much of it. This is a constant problem, it used to go away, but it has been doing it constantly for about 2-3 weeks, maybe even a month.

Can anyone please help me. I actually want to enjoy the drive in my truck!

Sounds like a AFM problem. Check the code and see what it says.

You need to pull the codes. You caould be having trouble with the throttle position sensor, AFM, EGR, fuel filter, the list goes on, but trouble shooting it by throwing new parts at it is going to be expensive.

Fixed

Yeah...it was my O2 sensor...$180 for a brand new one. Total cost was $210...kind of expensive...but hey it had to be done, and I wanted it done right!

The Yota runs like a dream now...and a hell of a lot more power!
