spray on bedliner questions
If I spray this on the floor of my cab (after the rust is fixed), can I still install my carpet without worry about heat or moisture buildup under the carpet.
Will I have to remove the factory sound deadening from the floor or just spray on top of it?
Thanks

yes you would have to remove all the stuff so the bedliner can grab onto bare metal.
you wouldnt have to worry about moisture unless you spilled or got water in the cab.

i agree with the above post - you dont have to be all the way to bare metal though. get down to clean paint or bare metal and clean with acetone or mineral spirits right before you apply it.
I have done this with great success and would higly recommend it . I used herculiner, what are you using?
I find that an angled die grinder works excellent with 3m scothbright pads if you have a compressor available.

My buddy used Herculiner on the bed of his truck with poor results. I didn't see him do it so I can't vouch for his surface preparation but the liner was chipping and peeling off in large quantities within a year.
