Splash Guard Clips

Posted in wrong forum before... Sorry

Anyone here ordered the CLIPS for the inner fender well SPLASH SHIELD? Are they really $1.05 each ? Or do they come as a bag.... ? Anyone found some aftermarket that'll work? I need a bunch and don't want to pay 20 bux for a fi˟˟˟˟ll of plastic buttons... What can I say, I'm cheap.

Thanks,

S.

Just the clips that go through the shield and into the fender right? These you should be able to get at any parts store for cheaper than 1.05 each. Also check auto paint places. They usually have all sorts of clips for interior and exterior. And when you mean clips, its just those push in things right?

Here's what I'm planning on doing for that, but I have custom splash guards because of a body lift so your's may be different. Go to Ace hardware and look for something called an extruded "U" nut, it's basicly a clip-on nut and with correct size screw and washer you will be able to just unscrew your splash guard easyly and then screw it back on.

Here's a pic of where I'm using the extruded "U" nuts for a custom shifter application: http://community.webshots.com/photo/...42310107sQfOJh

That's a good idea, MG. I'm familiar with these kinds of clips as they're all over my F150 ... They'll probably rust quickly, under the fender well, but for $6 a bag, who cares?

Thanks.

Rust, you guys have rust in Ca? So coat them good with anti-sieze. The nuts were a little pricey but since they are reusable it's worth it.
