speedometer cable

I haven't been on the site in a long time so I'm sure I'm posting this in the wrong place but if y'all could help I would really appreciate it. the speedo cable in my '91 is broke and short of going to the stealership I haven't been able to find a NEW one...any ideas?

the details about the truck are in my signature

You could try a junk yard, problem is these cables wear out. So a junkyard unit may not be much better. To my knowledge dealership is the only place to get new. Your stock cable lasted 21 years not bad IMO.

The stealership isnt that bad mine was about $100 I found a guy to rebuild the unit I had, he wanted the same and was out of state. Give your VIN though they gave me the wrong one for my 1rst gen had to exchange it go figure.
