Speaker Size ?

I'm about to change my speakers ia 1995 4runner. I'm not quite sure of the size. Also a ? of what type to get.

I do hope that this isn't a big job to do. Have any of you done this to a 95 4runner, and what type of problems am I looking at. Any tips would be great. Thanks to all for your help.

A lot of shops like Best buy and future shop have the car spec checkers on their sites. I know Best buy does for sure so you could find out over there. If its anything like a 1st gen 4runner, it is 4"s in the front and 5/8s in the back. Pretty crappy but you can make some custom spots on the door panels etc.

I know they are 4" in the front and maybe 5 1/4 in the rear. I would go with some pioneer or infinity.

www.crutchfield.com they can tell you which speakers will fit
it's eazy but time consuming on my 91 to get to the rear speakers.
the front speakers have very little clearence in the for the front of the cone only some 4" speakers will work others just get torn up.

I just replaced the front ones on my pickup yesterday.

I bought some 4" infinity 4012i's from future shop.

Took 15 mins to put in, very easy, only problem was they where a little too big, so I had to use a few spacers to bring the speaker back a little to clear the cone thing.
