Spark Plugs

Spark Plugs
Time to put new plugs in, been thinking about maybe trying the new NGK Iridiums. Noticed it says requires less voltage to get same or better spark, which should be good for the weak system as is.
Are the Iridiums overkill? Worth it at $6.95? Looks like above may be an advantage.

There is no intrinsic difference in plugs other than the longevity. I have the Denso Iridium plugs; they work fine, no real difference than the Yota plugs I had before. I expect to see 100k out of them, though.

I just put the NGK iridium IX plugs in mine on Friday & the truck runs fine with them. I adjusted the timing from 0-t.d.c. to 10-b.t.d.c. at the same time so it's hard to say how they affected the performance. I didn't even consider any of the supposed performance gains when making the purchase, just the extended plug life.
