ok maybe im ....... either way im looking for a thread/blog shows how to let down my spare tire on my 93 runner ive found the ones that cut torch or beat it down but im not sure its stuck cause i cant seem to see where to but this rod besides in my eye

 

The rod goes in pointing a bit up and to the passenger side. And you need the extra extension thing on the rod, with the loop on the end.

 

got the long loop thing ! so your saying it goes from the center off the side a bit kinda like this.../

 

I think so, it's been over 2 years since I sold my 93 so my memory might be a bit fuzzy. I seem to remember it being an inch or 2 off centre. It definitely goes up as you have to go from the bumper hole over the tire.
