Hey guys,

As the title says looking for a source for a new front parking brake cable '86 4rnr.

I tried all the local shops: Reilly's, advance, and autozone. Online: Rock, toyota parts, even googled searched part.

Haven't check dealer but you know I dread the thought of their prices.

Got one from a later model that I can "make" work for a short term solution. Gotta get inspection.

Have found a couple on Ebay and Amazon.

Can anyone verify Part Number: Wagner BC123093 is correct.

86 is getting up there in age you might still be able to get one from Your dealer.

I have had so much trouble getting cables from other then the dealer Toyota is my first choice .

If your Emergency Brake has not been used for quite some time make sure the Bell Cranks are not seized in the brackets as well.

Maybe someone has a new one laying around.

Well "massaged" the later model cable to work for now. It holds truck so should be good for inspection.
