Source for 138 dark gray metallic paint?

Dupli-Color seems to no longer produce BTY1557 for paint code 138 -- what are other people using and having success with? Or does someone have a stash of this Dupli-color paint?

Most local automotive paint vendors that service body shops can do rattle cans.

Sherwin Williams Automotive Paint stores mix it on the spot. As long as they have the "recipe", they should be able to make you up a batch while you wait.

Does anyone know if they have this particular recipe? Anyone used their automotive paint and can comment on the quality?

I've had really good luck with the Dupli-color ones. Great match, nice spray nozzle, and good adhesion.

I went to the PPG store and gave them my 1987 paint code, red 3D7. Match looked dead on. So yeah, the paint code works.

The drawback is rattle cans mixed by paint vendors will be considerably more expensive than Duplicolor. It's probably going to be more durable, though

Are you looking for an aerosol spray can? I don't think Sherwin Williams makes that. My truck is sprayed with Sherwin Williams paint but the kind you buy in quarts or gallons and spray with a spray gun.

Automotivetouchup.com sells aerosol cans. I used it for my doorjambs and it looks good to me. Same 138 color code you're looking for.

In the end, I found this: https://a.co/d/0ocdv6Y -- a pretty decent match
