something blew (#2)

It turns out I didn't throw a rod or anything. Quite simply, a spark plug loosened and blew out. Screwed it back in and back in business. I know I said my mechanical prowess leaves something to be desired, but I do know how to tighten down spark plugs when I change them. So has anyone else ever had a plug work loose?
It seems that belt shard may have been sitting where I had found it for some time, having nothing to do with the problem.
Thanks for all your suggestions. Thankfully it was nothing serious.

My sister in law's mini-van does that every once in awhile. And it's always her #3 spark plug.....we always chalked it up to being Found On Road Dead thing....
