well i just got back from his moms house.
i was hoping he wouldnt be there but was.
i yelled he agreed with what i yelled about. were ok but not best buds.
as for parts.
i was quoted 2 grand to have it fixed at the local ford garage in town.
but his parents cant pay that, so there buddies with another local place in town, were they can make payments. (and im sure he will cut them a deal)
friday is my day off so ill run in on friday and see what the guy says.
also for a backing plate so to speak i took pics of his truck (i cant upload them sorry) so i can prove how the damage was comited. I also saw the skid marks today. he was in a passing zone but it ended 5 feet past the skid marks.
all and all trucks are getting fixed (at least mine is that all i care about) and he learnd to not drive like a teenage any more. (i know i am still one too but i drive sane.)

I never said you can't post. Post whatever you want. I was just trying to give some advice. I've seen things like this brought up in court (personal experience) and the person in the right lose and have to pay out the a$$. I wasn't saying what you did on the road was either right or wrong. I was just pointing out how what you wrote can be interpreted.

I did read the entire thread and it's hard to get the facts straight. Just to make a quick point (and to get the facts straight):

These three comments contradict each other.
In the first quote you say you knew he was passing and jumped on the gas while he hit the brakes at the same time.
In the second quote you say you didn't even know he was passing you, but then in the very next sentence you say you know the location of his vehicle. Right next to you, BARELY at your ex cab window.
In the third quote you say he broke BEFORE you gassed it.

Again, all I was saying is be careful what you post on a public forum.
By the way, I'm glad to hear no one was seriously injured.
