I've been talking with Ron Davis Racing Products and they have the most helpful & knowledgeable radiator techs I've ever spoken with. I'll definitely be giving them my business when the time comes:

I just put a really really cheap ($67) ebay rad in my truck it's aluminum core and plastic tanks. It works quite well. I can't really comment on long term reliability because it's new but it comes with a lifetime warranty of some sort.

Aluminum radiators are great but IMHO the plastic tanks tend to leak sooner than the copper/brass radiators. An all Al rad would be great.

You can't compare the number of rows between Al and copper/B because the Al rows are much bigger. A one row Al radiator can out cool a 3 row copper/B. The rows are smaller on a copper/B for strength reasons.

Don't look for one of those to last as long as the all-metal ones; they are epoxied together & tend to leak after @ 5 years or so.

Yeah. I'm trying to decide what to get. There is an all alluminum silla on thepartsbin.com for like 200 and lc engineering also has an all aluminum for like 500 I think and they have one with a spal fan ansd shroud for like 700. It looks nice but idk how many cfms the fan has. I think for now ima get a taurua fanand keep my cb rad. Just got my lc headers in today and they look awesome. Can't wait to put it back together...

Red face

For what it is worth as long as it is possible I will go with the copper /brass ones.

Nothing wrong with Aluminum but if you are a few miles up the canyon and it cracks or you poke a hole in it.

Getting it clean enough and waiting for the j.b. weld to cure could get rather long.

Aluminum is great for a vehicle that is within reach of a rollback out in the woods I will pass.

Might be out of yor price range(dont know how deep your wallet is) but I got a 4 row for my mustang from Performance cooling.Has worked like a charm in cooling a 1055 hp(usually only pushing 500 on track) 410Ci Supercharged car on the track(road course so distance is a factor) for 3 years now, and it takes a beating.Check them out for your application here http://stores.ebay.com/PERFORMANCE-COOLING?_rdc=1

I will be in the need of a new radiator soon as well. I did come across an all aluminum radiator with 3 row for cheap. Have yet to call on this. I may venture this way though, Check out the link.
