Show me some pics of 2nd gens with roof racks
Hey, I searched, but didn't really find a thread with this info in it. I'd like to see pics of 2nd gen 4runners with roof racks weather they're pre-fab or made at the house. I'm trying to get ideas for one on my runner, but nothing really catches me. I know I want something low to the roof though that's for sure. If I missed the thread just post up some links...thanks

Hey strap could I see a side shot of your rig? I think you and lamm are more on the track of what I'm thinking with close to the roof. I am wanting other than stock....just gonna probably make my own. I want it close to the roof and with a little more sport style if you understand. not as boxy...maybe that's what I mean...I just haven't seen anything that's really made me want it yet. Thanks for the replys though..keep them coming

Just curious, I haven't put a rack on mine because with 35's, SAC and rear coils my girl is a tippy bi@tch. I carry my spare 35 in the back, becaus if it were on the roof I'd roll on 1-70 on my way out to Moab. I am getting 4 quick dissconnect sways and I am sure that will help, but she's really tippy regardless. Any of you have the same issue.
Not that I need a roof rack. the exco cage gets dropped on this spring....

old pic... pre any mods...
again old pic, but it full of stuff.. there is an empty keg shell inside the grey trashcan

after my BJspacer/LC coils.
I like my rack and i dont at the same time. when i use it, i love it. its so nice to be able to throw whatever i want up there. and i love the KCs up top, they project SO much light, once you get used to being able to useing them and hten when you cant (cars in front of you, or oncoming cars) i feel you cant see anything. However, the downside, i wonder how much of my MPG are killed by having it up there.

Plenty of pics of my Yakima Load Warrior here, and also in the Tech section.
