shortening the bed

shortening the bed
Well now my latest project is to finish shortening or bobbing the bed, 86 4x4 originally a long bed, guy I bought it from says he cut it to the frame.rails but it looks a little shorter, my question is, any tips and tricks or trouble areas I should watch out for?
