Short & Long block recommendations

I appreciate all the advice given concerning my '93 22re. I am looking for some recommendations on some companies selling both short and long blocks. If you have purchased either a long or short block from a particular company and can give me either a positive or negative let me know. Thanks.

E.S.

What are you planning to use it for... I would look at a short block locally where you are.. and a head from engnbldr.com...

As much as people on yotatech don't like him: Tim at DOAracing.com knows how to build a 22RE.

He doesn't have the best track record on the 3.0, but I have yet to hear a complaint(other than price) on his 22RE's

Many local machine shops rebuild motors.. The other "budget" option is a reman, which typically requires a core exchange.
