im putting 2 inch bj spacers, and lc coils, along with a pan hard bracket, and extended brake lines. What shocks should accompany this set up the best i was looking at skyjacker and the shocks are about $50 a peice, I am looking for the best shock for the price, i need to know the exact part number and where i can get it, any advice is welcomed

have you used those on any IFS truck? if that's the case wich ones??

 

I put them on my truck when I sas'd it. I got all my stuff from Sky's and those were the shock they sell,and the price seemed great so I got them. I just got their cheapest ones and was happy with them.

 

I have some of those as well. I suppose they are alright. I got a set of 3500 series from LowRange Off-Road. Came with a good install kit and the price was decent. I put those on the back. I may go with some stiffer shocks up front because of the engine weight and the weight of the front axle.

 

The best shocks for longevity & doing what a shock does best are Bilstein HD. I've been through tons of shocks, and never found any better without paying at least double the price. I put 120,000 miles on my last set...

Bilstein hands down. Youll never like another shock again.

 

I liked my Bilstein's as well. The only thing is I don't remember if they will fit with BJ spacers. The lift shocks are meant for a 4" bracket drop and the stock ones would fit the stock suspension. I believe Rancho makes a shock for a 2" lift. But Rancho's aren't the best. I believe they are very stiff. If you can find a set of Bilsteins that fit though, get those, you will never be disappointed.
