Shock bushing missing. Options?

The bottom bushing on my front passenger side shock is missing, which makes for an ugly noise when I go over bumps. Do I have to buy a new shock, or can I get a bushing for it somewhere. The shocks are pretty poor looking anyway, so would it be in my best interest to replace them?

The bottom bushings on my Rancho's dry rotted and fell out but the shock was still good. I went to Napa and they had replacement bushings for all kinds of shocks. Bought 'em for both front shocks and cost me about $8.00 and half hour of work.
