Hey, a buddy of mine was talking about some parts for my G54 tranny that would freshen up the sloppy shifting. It has a ton of play when it's in gear. He didnt know what the parts were called, but I guess there's a collar and bushing that goes between or around the shift lever and transmission?

I've messed with a couple of manual trannies, never a G54, but they all have some type of bushings or bearings or something at that point. Anyone know names, part #'s or anything? Maybe someone makes a kit?

I just rebuilt the engine, so the tranny would have to wait until next tax season if it needs it. But if these parts will freshen up the feel I'll definitely spring for it.

 

marlincrawler has these. Shifter seat and shifter bushing i believe they're called.
