Shifter Help!
My Auto. shifter in my 89 4runner is junk!! Very loose and several pieces broken. Any options besides an aftermarket like the original that will probably end up the same way? Has anyone fabed up there own?

Yeah,I fixed mine with a PVC pipe.There are some plastic bushings in it that wear out.I replaced them with PVC and it is now better than new.It's really tight,but it will loosen up soon enough.Try it! Piece of cake.
