Seafoam Question!

Going to seafoam my truck today as well as change the oil. Should I change my oil before I do the treatment or after? Or does it even matter?
Thanks!

I would seafoam before the treatment. Then change the oil to get any of the left over solvents out of the engine...

Depends on what treatment you do. If adding to the oil, add half a bottle then drive 20-30 miles. They say you can go 50 miles but i personally dont want the stuff in my oil that long. Then do an oil change.

If you are pouring it through your intake or letting a vaccuum line suck it through the system, add it very slowly while a friend pedals the truck to prevent stalling. Check and clean/change your plugs and O2 sensors after the procedure if needed. Expect alot of smoke if you are going with this method. Like....alot of smoke. Dont inhale the fumes either. Its some nasty stuff. Itll smoke for a few minutes then start fading off. When you first drive after this method it will smoke a little more then gradually fade off.

If adding to your fuel, do it with a full tank of 91 or better. You most likely wont get any smoke, but your gas milage may increase along with throttle response. You probably wont notice as it is a gradual change.
