Same style transfer case. Different shift rods

Same style transfer case. Different shift rods
these are both top shift transfer cases, but the shift rods are different. i know the forward shift rods are longer. i converted one of these to a top shift from forward shift, but the one i pulled out of my truck as you can see here has longer rods. how many different rods did they make for these cases?
