Question Sagging rear end

I ran across a place that said they could re-heat and re-form my old springs. Will this work or will it eventually sag the same way again?

If not, whats the BEST way to fix it, because there seems to be too many different opinions out there.

Replace the springs. Go with OME, Downey, or PP.

New springs from NAPA cost around $120 and they are great. Should be able to install them alone without help in 2 hours in the diveway. Took me 30 min. at the shop with a lift and transmission jack.

A shop can re-arch your stoc kleaf springs, nothing can be done for coils. Dependig on the condition of your springs this is a fine option. I had my 4yr old Downey springs re-arched and they lasted till the first 'wheeling trip. It was due to the suck of the downey springs not the re-arching or the work done.

Anyone have some prices for OME, PP, ect... springs? Was lookin around, and so far Downey has the best prices. $199 for 3" (pair) compaired to $124.99 for Superlift's 3" (each).

Mine are sittin level, and I'm either gonna go to a junkyard and get some stocks, or get a 2-4" pack and take off my blocks. Price is pretty much my swaying factor.

rezrunner92 do you have any pictures (before/after).. I'm considering the eibach's that tc alway's recomends (which I prefer), or the Moog replacements to level the rear. I've seen quite a few of the eibach's pics but haven't really seen what the moog's or other similar replacements can do.

It's a daily driver (my wife's) so level to slightly higher like the eibach's is what I'm looking for. Won't be for a couple more months regardless I gonna wait till it warms up, -32 Celcius or -26F this morning. It was a cold one.

No pics yet. I have a Razor phone but don't subscribe to the web on it so I can't e-mail pics to my computer. When I plug it in my computer won't recognize it as a camera device? I had a cheapo digital but it crapped out. My friend said I could borrow his digital some time this week so I will try to get some.
I used the NAPA springs and am extremely satisfied.
I will ask my wife is she has any regular old photo paper pictures of the 4Runner before I fixed the springs. If so I can just scan them.

The NAPA springs made it almost perfectly level and it loads up really good.

Slightly off-topic, but yeah computer won't recognize it as a camera or external hard drive or anything else. Moto wants to force you to buy their software at ~$75.

Try BitTorrent maybe......but the pics from a Razr suck anyway.

SO I still want to know if it's a leaf or coil spring truck you have Lifelongtoy. Like I said there is nothing I've heard that can be done to coils but re-arching has been around since leaf springs.

Chirs f this is for you. If you noticed I lowerd my t-bars up front to give my 4runner a slight rake to mimic the stance of my 'cruiser. The Moog springs from Napa are really nice in stance, durablity and ride with the progressive rate:

Thanks! It's a load of fun. It's nearly 60 deg here in Colorado today, so I'm rollin' with the top down!

Thanks Bear80..
That's the stance I've been looking for. How much did you actually drop the front?
