Rust Repair

Hello,

Im looking for replacement rocker panels for a 1986 standard cab pickup that im currently working on, any help?

Sorry, can't really help wlyou with a replacement part but if your doing rust repair and preservation work that eastwoods rust excapsulator does a great job for stopping any rust from migration.
Sorry if this is no use to you but the stuff is frikin amazing!

Your best bet may be to find a rig that someone is parting out that still has good rockers. If you can buy a beat up cab that has the parts you need on it then you can cut out your bad rockers and weld in the unrusted ones.

I don't know of anyone that makes rockers for our rigs.


Edit. If there is a salvage yard or a pick-n-pull near you then take a sawzall out there and chop out some rockers.

I remember jcwhitney having some repair panels available a while back. If they do not have any, try calling a body shop and see if they can order one for you.
