I have my front diff off for a little while (with manual hubs). I was going to make some covers for the inner hub out of Plexiglas to keep dirt out. Anyone have any other ideas for covers? It is an 86 4runner.

 

why are you doing this?

 

I pulled the front diff to redo the oil pan and I'm gonna redo the seals on the diff while its out, but will not be able to get to it for a few weeks.

 

Jam a paper towel in the hole.
