runner running poorly after eng swap
hey hey, new guy here
swapped an engine recently. I drove the good runner before engine purchase, and it ran great.
after swap I cant get her running right...and could use sum help
1995 3.0 dropped into a 1994 (3.0 had bad head gasket)
all went well install wise...starts immediatly
but after a lil warm up ...a min or two, engine begins surging or pulsing. stays running tho.
it then wont take throttle over 1500 rpm....just goes flat
swapped a lot of obvious things and looked for leaks....but my pea sized brain isnt overcoming the issue
any and all ideas welcome.....
thx

welcome bro
i would re-check the enormous amount of vacuum lines on the passenger side. and the right side, too.
3vze has tons of opportunity for vacuum leaks due to all the pair/egr/vsv we have.

thx rtd33...
vac lines suck indeed....perhaps it is possible that a line would prevent proper acceleration
and....surging.
be nice to have a 2nd runner to view lines and proper plug ins.
am much better with visual than schematics!
