I have a 94 4 runner 3.0 motor. When I start it up it has a ruff idle...goes up and down as if it wants to die. Sometimes if I don't keep my foot on the gas it dies. Anyone knows what it can be?? Does anyone also know if there is another hose that can be used to replace a power steering return line?? The dealer only sales it by whole unit and I only need that short piece hose that looks like a L.

 

Measure it, or trace it and take that to the parts store. They'll have something that matches or something you can cut to work. Also since it's a low pressure return line you could use straight hose and a elbow. Just make sure you get something that is compatible with the hydraulic fluid.
