Rubicon??
Alright ive done some searching and cant seem to find anything. I wanna know if any one has made it over the Rubicon trail with a somewhat stock ifs set up? I went two years ago when i couldn't drive in my stepbrothers jeep but i wanna show up my jeep family and take my yota over it.

Plenty have! Throw some 33 x 10.50's on there with a rear locker and good sliders/body protection (some 4.7's in the t case if you don't wanna burn up your clutch) and your good to go. I've even seen a vid where a stock 4runner with 31's and only a rear locker have made it. Just dont expect to not get body damage.

it can almost be guarenteed that you will break a cv or two. ive seen a few with ifs make it through, but its not easy, you will get body damage and you will most likely break stuff, also if you do go on the rubicon with your rig as it is, go on a slow weekend so you dont back up the trail for other people.

i made it through with my 884runner the day i bought it back in 03 than it had a 4inch procomp lift a ls in front and detroit in the back. the one thing i learned that days was to not rin the con with balding tires

I've made it over in a sandrail, many years ago, but it's totally doable. Had to winch a few times. You will have a bit more work in front of you. My suggestion though, take some of the alternate routes. Not everything needs a rock buggy.
