Rough Starting Idle

Okay so I have a 87 Turbo 22re truck, when I start my truck cold or warm it always idles rough. But if I drive it about 1/2 mile, it'll idle just fine. Or if I take the revs to about 3000 for 2 minutes or so it idles fine. So my question is what is causing this, and how to fix it? Sorry if this may have been asked already, but I don't want to go through 50 different threads to find something that might be close to my problems... thanks. I'm going to be trying to sell it here soon to pay for my 1980 and I don't want it to be acting up like it is when I try to sell it.

Thanks very much!!!

I think i'm going to ask 3200 and see where that gets me, i'm currently replacing the brake master cylinder because the old one took a crap. I have a thread for it https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f85/...-turbo-251923/ the only thing that is different is the wheels and tires, its on wagon wheels that have been painted black (not me) and on 33x9.5 all 5

Rough idle at startup can be due to coolant in a cylinder. Pull the plugs and take a look after it sits awhile.

Have you done the normal tune-up things recently?

Yeah all of the tune-up has been done recently, I imagine its just a sensor that has gone bad that is causing this but don't know where to start...
