Rough Ride 93 Pickup

I hav a 1993 pickup, 22re, 4wd. 160k miles. My dad bought this truck new. I just changed the timing chain and it runs like a new truck. The suspension is not very comfortable. They sell a kit on ebay with a 2 inch lift and shocks. Will this help my ride? Why the lift? Plan on driving mainly oh the road. Blitzen shocks seem to be popular for off road. Any suggestions, advice would be appreciated.

thank you

I imagine the suspension hasnt been replaced anytime recently. A lift isnt going to improve the ride for sure. New shocks will.
is this a street truck or offroad?

Id throW some KYB gas a just shocks on all 4 corners and see how that goes.
