ok so a few months ago i encountered a issue that plagues 22re owners and has never been answered on 6 different forums the cold start in my truck was great ran great and idled great but if i stopped at the grocery store or shut it down for a short amount of time and started it again it would idle so bad for 5 minutes it would bounce off of the motor mounts but after the 5 minutes the idle would come back to normal and drive fine so i started some in depth investigation long story short after 4 days of trouble shooting i came up with the answer it was the DAM IACV i took it off and boiled it in hot water and then dunked it in ice water a few times to see if the operation was normal and it was the iacv spring was carboned up to the point it was stuck half way so i answered your question your welcome

Make sure to clean the throttle body with a toothbrush while your in there
