Rough idle

I am having idle issues as well. I changed the temp sensor and the tps which I adjusted using an ohm meter. It was giving codes for both of those items. After clearing the codes no new codes were found. It still has a great start up but after a few seconds it goes into a rough idle and dies. Anyone know what this might be??

Check for vacuum leaks and adjust your valves, and also post what engine you are having problems with.

Can you hold the throttle slightly open and keep it running and smooth? Perhaps your idle speed needs adjusting.

No change

It runs great for the first few seconds and then it goes into the rough idle and dies. I can feather the accelerator and keep it running but it is really rough and never smooths out.valves are good and vacuum has Been checked. 88 22re in 88 pickup
