Rough Country drop bracket lift?

Hi there, im looking to get more lift out of my truck. i currently have bj spacers, a lil bit of t-bar crank, and 3" body lift. if i get the 4" rough country will the shocks that come with the kit be to short and is there a skidplate that would work with the kit? if anyone has this lift can ya tell me how you like it. Thanks again

shocks shouldnt be too short, dunno if the skid plate will work, and ive got a superlift drop bracket lift..and my .02 go blazeland if ur gonna stick with IFS, might as well make it better while your lifting it......bracket lifts just extend your stock IFS down, no more travel, no more flex...just bigger tires....shoot you only get like 3" of ground clearance depending on the tire size.....

meh it works well for what its worth, i just looked at rough country and superlift, i remember mine being a stage 2.....hermmm it has befier spindle drop brackets, instead of being tubular their cast iron MUCH BETTER!! and if $$ permits get the crossmember to frame kicker braces..so when ur haulin butt and you hit some 1 elses rut, it doesent collapse ur frontend that allmost rhymed

What size tire do you plan to run? if you go over 33s your going to want to think about re gearing and from what i hear, 35s break cv shafts pretty easy. however, i have 35 on my ifs right now and i havent broken anything yet. knock on wood.

AHA i found it, ive got a procomp stage 2 IFS lift...my bad..and yeah ive got 35's it wasnt too shabby with the 4.10's (got a rebuilt motor too) but o how wonderful the 5.29's are cant wait to get the front so i can wheel this bad boy again...but the rough country IFS lift looks pretty similar to mine..so good to go

if ya wanna pay it..its DEF worth it, only thing that ive seen members having probs with their stuff is the bud built cross member, if you land hard enough you can tweek it causing some leaking probs...and yeah ive run the piss out of mine with the 4:10's open/open mud slingin and some climbing with no probs, but i havent run it yet with 5.29's n lockers yet..but a buddy of mine has allmost the same setup but with an RE and locked on both ends, and he breaks a cv every once in a good while, but if you buy em from autozone they have a lifetime warranty...so no worries, just takes a 30 min or so to change out once you get the hang of it...i plan on making my own skid plate, but i have access to a 10 ft break just gotta get the steel
