U still have any of the parts from the replacemnt turcks(bumper interior misc.) U could make a butt load parting out and u could also let me know in case u have a rear bumper

Very nice... I think I liked the hood scoop a little better on the old body, but the new one isn't bad either.

I cut a much larger hole; I'm guessing you have a 1" body lift? I'm running a 1/2" body lift and I cut a about a 12" across backwards 'D' to clear my stuff.. I miss the cool looking hood scoop. That was trashed in the roll and I can't find another like it.

I miss the scoop. I bought it in 03' from a place called IDMspeed.com. They no longer exist. The white piece of junk you see was $50 on ebay. I slapped it on to keep the snow and rain out while parking outside in inclement weather..

no, i have no body lift. but i did have custom motor mounts made since it was a 4cylinder truck, so im thinking they were made incorrectly which is good for me obviously lol. How did you go about putting the scoop on your hood?

dude, drifting in yotas works just fine. lol. just takes skill in the drivers seat. on a different subject, whats the sickest spin on record with anyone? iv pulled out a 720. lol. it was insane. wet roads, comin off the interstate, goin through that "orange" light, gunnin it in 2nd at 40 mph. note to others, bad idea. lol. it was all good till i stalled it out. somehow i nailed it a little too tough on the restart and ended up facing traffic again. oh the joys. lol

Drifting is fun and just fine....ON THE TRACK. Not anywhere where you will endanger the lives of others, or others personal property.

That's cool how you have set your motor lower into the framerails.. You get a lower COG and you can get away with a small scoop and no body lift. I hope you have adequate clearance from your oil pan to diff though

I attached my original scoop with rivets. Then I had a body shop glass/bondo it and paint it. 1 year later, rust was bubbling up around some of the seams. I was contemplating how to fix it when I rolled it several times and no longer needed to

Originally, I didn't want any body lift but the S/C bypass actuator body was hitting the hood right next to the drivers side windshield squirter. I opted for a 1/2" body lift and that solved the problem. The pic below is my new hood- I cut the hole quickly (get er' done mode) and slapped a cheap scoop on to keep out the elements. Someday I'll come across a scoop to my liking

Have you ever checked your coolant temp with a OBDII scanner?

 

No sir, I have not. I would be curious to know- does anyone know off hand if this is easy to find in the Auterra Dyno Scan software? That's what I use and I've never used it for anything but diagnosing codes.

I'm running the 3.0 radiator with a Volvo 760 (I think) 2 speed cooling fan.. I booty-fabbed the Volvo fan and shroud to fit my radiator and added a piece of sheetmetal to fill a gap. I'm using the Volvo relay to trigger it (high setting only) with a switch in my dash for the time being; still on the fence about which fan controller I want to use. FWIW, I live in St Louis where we routinely see temps over 100 degrees and idle through traffic with A/C and I've never seen my stock gauge go over half way. I'm running the TRD (cooler) thermostat and I have no grill blockage. I also run a pseudo-Satoshi style grill

 

I don't know about that software, but with the obddiagnostics software it's very easy.

You've got me curious now because I doubt the stock gauge is very accurate; I'll check out my software and see what my temps are.. I'll post the OBDII observed temp after a good flogging on the highway
Another thing, I ran the 3.0 fan and shroud until about a year ago and had no troubles whatsoever except the parasitic load the mechanical fan puts on the engine. I switched to electric strictly for performance gains
