I have done some looking around on here and have gotten a little help but looking for more on this issue...

I have a 88 toyota pickup 22re, I am currently going through all the lil things that are wrong with it. One of them is the reverse lights dont work. It appears that a previous owner of the truck swapped out an auto tranny for a manual one. I know the reverse lights arent even hooked up. On the passsanger side there are two "switches" that come out of the side of the tranny. One has a single wire coming from it which is about 10 inches long and just cut off. The other switch (which is farther forward on the side of the tranny)seems to be broken off completely and covered with dirt and grime.

My questions are: Which one of these is the actualy swtich for the reverse lights? And where is a good place to get a replacement so I can put it in and wire up my reverse lights?
