try adjusting the rear brakes

 

Glad to hear the MC works for you! Oldblue got it. Lots of times the adjustment on the rear drums is out to lunch. The self adjusters are unreliable at best. Pop off the drums and adjust them out a bit and try again. It can be a pain if your drums are getting worn as they'll have a lip on the outside edge. I ground the lip off mine when I still had drums.

And yes, you also have to bleed your proportioning valve. Assuming they have on of the 2wd. I'm not sure on your year but on mine its attatched the the passenger frame rail above the axle. Follow the brake line and you'll find it. I warn you in advance, use penetration oil on the bleed screw in your PV. Also, use a socket the first time you undo it, Heat may be useful as well. I've wrecked a few of the bleed screws. They don't get washed off often and many people forget about them when bleeding so they rust themselves in place. I bleed the pv, bleed your 4 brakes, then the PV again. No problems yet.
