Update: I never found a replacement mirror so I went a different route. I made a paper template, took it to the local salvage yard, picked up 4 slightly larger Drivers side mirrors for $4 each, and grabbed a mirror cutter at Home Depot ($2.50).

I then:
1) Cut the plastic backing off with a cutoff wheel (do not try to pry the mirror off as it will crack - instead cut the plastic off the mirror)
2) Traced the paper template onto the mirror With a sharpie
3) Cut and then snapped off the excess one small piece at a time, taking my time
4) Then filed/sanded the edges smooth
5) Adhered the new mirror into the OEM power mirror bracket.

I bought 4 assuming I would break a couple while I figured it out, but the first one went seamless so i’ll save the others for the future considering there really aren’t any OEM replacement options left.

Pics below. For $6.50, it is a great option for those liking to replace a Power SR5 mirror insert.

Nicely done. (Looks like a lot of work, but ending up with a successful result makes it worthwhile.)

Thanks for the detailed report.

Awesome! I am glad it worked out. Sometimes you need to get creative to keep things working.

Post a picture when the mirror is back on your truck!

For Passenger, you’ll have to find one where the bottom edge matches well since it has the engraved wording. Then cut the other 3 sides to fit.

Good luck!

Sweet! Now you can see behind you again and adjust them inside the cab.

It looks good!

Looking for manual chrome LH mirror

Does anyone have relevant experience with Kool-vue manual chrome mirrors?

I'm looking for good fit, decent chrome, no shaking.
