Replaced Rotors- dust shield needed ?
I have a '91 toyota 4x4 that I'm replacing the rotors with new ones.
I took both rotors off, and noticed a DUST SHIELD behind the rotors, attached to the truck with 7 bolts, each seal had the rubber rotted.
Where could I get replacement seals ?
Is this a toyota part only ?
Anybody know the toyota part #'s for these dust shields ?

http://www.toyodiy.com/parts/ <-- link for finding all Toyota part numbers easily, wouldn't be surprised if a parts store can x-reference the Toy part # and come up with a cheaper seal.
You don't "need" the dust shield, but it does prevent brake dusts from getting everywhere.

Thanks for that web site...it helped out alot.
The part # for the seal is 90313-93002
Toyota wants $42 for the seal
And 3 automotive parts stores wanted $87.79, go figure ???
2 repair techs at toyota also said the seal isn't required, and they never replaced theirs on their trucks either when they were rotted away.

$26.44 from World Toyota of Atlanta (no affiliation). Shipping would be $9.50 I think.

Older thread but still great info. My rig is now 5 years olde from this post and let's be honest she's not going to live another 5 so glad to hear I won't have to be replacing these seals as they are expensive!

Part number 43511J Or 43511K is also 90313-93002
