If the breather is plugged it'll cause the seals to leak. But having oil out of the breather? My guess is that the axle housing would have to be awfully overfilled to get oil out of the breather, or maybe it was being sloshed around a lot. Since you cleaned it up, see what happens, if you're lucky your pinion leak will disappear.

yea chicken I don't think over filled, but overfilled including water! idk. Ive been keepingmy eye on it and no more leak from what I can tell. Not sure if I;ll go ahead with the seal replacment. I'm waiting on the parts now...
