removing windsheild trim

I recently had the windshield replaced and some rust spots fixed on my 86 pickup. Unfortunately we had some heavy rain last night and I noticed that water had gotten through the top of windsheild. So I wondering how to take off the trim with out destroying it so that I can try to plug up the leak. If anyone has any tips for this, I'd apriciate it. Thanks!

Man I was wondering the same thing. I just took a ty one off of my truck and it just pulled off but I don't want to mess it up taking it off of my donor truck.

I figured there must be some fairly simple trick to it being held by the autoglass industry. No? Maybe I should just take it back and ask for it to be resealed.

They use this heavy duty black caulk like substance to glue it all back on AFAIK.
