removing inner A-pillar panel

How do you remove the panel on the a pillar/a bar? My windshield wasnt mounted properly and now I have rust forming on the inside where the dash meets the windshield.

If you have an 89-95 style truck undo the screws on the Oh Crud! handle and gently pull the top of the trim piece towards you to pop it free of the spring clips. Don't pull too hard there is a moulded hook on the back that clips the bottom to the pillar you will need to lift the trim up a bit to free it completely once you have it loose.

If you don't have a Oh Crud! handle all you have to do is gently insert a flat screw driver behind the panel and pop it free from the spring clips then lift out as indicated above.

LOL. I asked here first because I wasn't sure to do that or not. Looks like that's the way to go. I just wasn't sure. Would rather ask here and be sure than to rip it off and find out I just broke some plastic clips that I'd have to order.

How does it go back on? Just pop it onto the spring clip? Or would I need a few dots of epoxy?

The spring clip is attached to the back of the panel [provided it did'nt pop off the plastic boss that is] so no epoxy is needed... if it pops off it just slides back on... if you lost it down behind the dash [it can happen] you can get them from the dealer for next to nothing, or from the scrap yard for free probably. The same clip is used on almost if not all Toyotas from that time period to secure dash/trim panels so you can pick them up almost anywhere.
