Remove instrument panel(upper dash)

I looked at the diagrams, search the entire forum, but I can't figure out how to remove the upper dash panel on my 94 pickup. The diagram says theres a screw towards the back in the middle of where the cluster would be but i can't see back there because the windshield defroster is in the way and I'm not sure how to remove it. any help would be appreciated.

So after staring at this thing for about an hour and staring at the bolt that I knew just absolutely couldnt be it because it was was 10mm bolt and not a screw. What the hey lets trying it a see what happens. after it comes out I feel like a total idiot....anyway on to the cleaning, degreasing, and painting of the entire dash. please excuse my noobness.

It's like the hidden bolt on a 22r head that hides in the lil bit of oil at the front of the head and screws into the top of the front cover. Everyones been there bud
